Izabekov Wrestling Academy was founded in 2016 by Chynarbek Izabekov, an Honored Coach of the Kyrgyz Republic in freestyle wrestling and a multiple-time World Champion among veterans.
The Academy was created as a place where athletes can live, train, recover, and become stronger every day.
Since 2017, the men's and women's national freestyle wrestling teams of Kyrgyzstan have been living and training at the Academy on a permanent basis.
